Château d'Estoublon Olive Oils
Based in the small town of Fontvieille near Arles in Provence the Château has deservedly built up a reputation for superb olive oils. Each bottle is named with the variety of olive used. The olives are hand picked and cold pressed in the traditional way.
Varieties used and available through Oakleaf are:
| Grossane: | Excellent with marinated scallops, in fruit salads, particularly with strawberries |
| Salonenque: | Superb with tender baby greens and for making olive oil ice cream |
| Bouteillan: | Great with steamed vegetables, tomato salad and fillets of fish before serving |
| Beruguette: | Wonderful for braising fish and poultry, on leeks and tomatoes, also with tea breads and spice cake. |
| Picholine: | Perfect with carpaccio of fish, beef tartare with a dash of lemon, also in sherbets and ice creams. |
