Tahitian Vanilla was actually the result of cross-pollination between two imported varieties of vanilla plant (Aromatica and Fragrans) and follows the same lengthy harvesting process as the Bourbon Vanilla Pods. However, in comparison the Tahitian Vanilla is substantially more expensive because the plantations do not produce large quantities, making it more exclusive. Tahitian Vanilla Pods boast a plumper bean with lot's more seeds and a magnificent bouquet, and have become increasingly popular with lots of our premier customers. |
